I have been looking for an organization to volunteer with for a while now. Last weekend at the mall, I found it.
Mid-Michigan Heart Savers is a group that supports families of children needing heart surgery. They do everything from raise money to make and deliver care packages to sitting with the kids at the hospital so that the parents go home and take care of things there.
I spoke with the founder today. She said that they are trying to put together a fund raiser for the week of Valentines day. I volunteered to help in any way that I can.

That is really great! Volunteering for such a great cause is inspiring!
We do volunteer work for a group called Love Without Boundaries. They do heart surgery (and more) for orphans in China.

Someday, when I done with my FPU list, I'd love to go on a mission trip with them!
This sounds like a very worthy cause. I wouldn't mind helping. Can you tell me how?
Thanks

One of my big goals is to be able to just hand a charity a big check every month.
